Private lessons are for tennis players who want one-on-one instruction or have
their own specific group of people they want to take lessons with.

Steps to Scheduling a Lesson

1. Call in or email (info@bumblebeetennis.com) the days and times you are looking for. The more in advance
   you contact us the better.
2. Sign up for a private lesson series.
3. When we have found a time, we will confirm via email for your
   records.
4. Easily check your online account if you forget what time your class
   is or how many lessons you have left in your series.
5. If you find that you are unable to attend your private lesson or need to change your lesson’s time/day, please give at least 48 hours notice. Please see our private lessons cancellation policy.

West Side Location

Off Peak Times Available at the West Side/ Columbus Circle Location:

• Weekday mornings
• Various times M-F between 6pm-10pm
• Weekend Afternoons
• Weekend early mornings between 7am-10am

There is a flat rate per student. It includes the balls, court fee, and instructor
fees. Just have your child bring a racquet and come dressed ready
to play tennis! If you are looking to book a series of lessons at a set time,
check out our special series rates. Registration and payment can be made online
or over the phone.

Private Tennis Lessons (1 instructor to 1 student):

• $99 for a 1 hour lesson
• $58 for a 1/2 hour lesson

Peak Times

During the school year (September to June) our peak times are after school
4-6pm and weekend mornings 10am-12pm. Availability is very limited.
We will have a better idea of availability 5 days before the start of
the new season. Rates are about $10 higher per hour for our peak class times.
It’s best to schedule a 10-15 week series if you are looking to keep a key peak
time during the school year.

SoHo Location

Times Available:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 2:30pm-5:30pm
• Thursday 2:30pm-6:30pm
• Fridays 1pm to 7pm

• $110 for a 1 hour lesson
• $68 for a 1/2 hour lesson

This recently renovated, private indoor court at the Millennium Hotel provides an incredible tennis experience at a premier facility. And there are no membership fees! Space is limited, so please try to schedule your lesson at least one week in advance. (see times below)

Lessons are generally available:

• Mondays & Tuesdays: 1-3 PM

Lesson Agenda

Your instructor will create a lesson plan of games, drills, and instruction
that they see fit for your group’s level. You can also customize your lesson.
Just let the instructor know what you are looking for! Your private lessons
can include any, all or a combination of the following:

• Movement exercises
• Hitting
• Match play
• Muscle memory exercise

Who Should Take Private Tennis Lessons?

Private lessons are a great way for a young student to learn all the basics
of tennis before jumping into a group lesson. They’re also helpful for the student
looking for rapid improvement and more one-on-one attention.

Court Size

For beginner and experienced beginner players 10 years and younger, the court
size will be set up appropriate to their level, similar to our Mini Aces
and Tiny Tennis Class setup.
